The agreement between you and skillcapita.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are what actually binds us both.
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Kwantumworks Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U70200MH2025PTC440776), a company incorporated in India with its office at 401, KK Pavilion Business Square, Plot No. 53, SG Barve Marg, Sindhi Society, Chembur East, Mumbai – 400071. We trade as skillcapita, and in this document "skillcapita", "the Company", "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.
"Platform" means the skillcapita website, any skillcapita mobile application, and the email, messaging and social channels we operate. "Course" means any programme, module, assessment or credential we make available on the Platform. "Learner" means a person who enrols in a Course, whether on a paid, free or promotional basis. "You" means anyone who uses the Platform, whether or not you have enrolled in a Course.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Together they are the agreement between us.
By using the Platform or enrolling in a Course you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.
We may change these Terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give you notice by email or a prominent notice on the Platform before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the change. The date at the top of this page is always the current version.
A Course may carry its own specific terms covering fees, access period or deferral. Where those conflict with these Terms, the Course-specific terms apply for that Course. Where we have signed a separate written agreement with an organisation, that agreement prevails for learners on that organisation's seats, to the extent of any conflict.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enrol in a Course. Our Courses are not directed at children.
If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
We make no claim that the Platform is appropriate or lawful to access from every country. If you access it from outside India you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local law.
Most of what the Platform does requires an account. You agree to give accurate and current information when you register, and to keep it up to date. If information you give us is untrue or incomplete, we may suspend or close the account.
One account, one person. Do not share your login, do not create more than one account, and do not use anyone else's. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Letting another person take an assessment in your name is grounds for us to withdraw any credential issued and close the account.
Enrolment gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access the Course content for the access period stated on the Course page. Enrolment is not transferable to another person.
Access is granted once payment is received, or on enrolment where a Course is offered at no charge. An invoice or payment confirmation is sent by email and is your proof of delivery.
Where we grant access pending payment and payment is not received within the stated period, we may withdraw access without further notice.
It is your responsibility to check that a Course is suitable for your needs before enrolling. You are responsible for the device, software and internet connection you need to access the Platform, and for any costs of those.
Fees are shown on the Platform in Indian Rupees. Applicable taxes are calculated on the billing information you give us at checkout and shown before you pay.
Payments are handled by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card details. Card data is handled by our payment partners in line with Reserve Bank of India requirements. By paying, you also accept the payment provider's terms.
We will never ask you for an OTP, a PIN, a CVV or any other authentication detail. If anyone claiming to be from skillcapita asks you for one, it is not us. Please report it to us immediately.
We may change our prices at any time. A price change never affects a Course you have already paid for.
We sometimes make a Course available at no charge during a launch or promotional period. Where we do:
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: a full refund is available within 3 days of enrolment provided you have accessed no more than 10% of the Course, for enrolments paid through skillcapita. Payments made directly to an instructor off-platform are not covered.
We reserve the right to limit or deny refund requests in our reasonable discretion, including in cases of repeated or excessive requests or where we reasonably suspect abuse of the policies.
Where a Course includes an assessment, a credential is issued on meeting the stated completion requirements. Whether to issue, and in what form, is at our discretion, and the format may differ between Courses.
Each credential carries a unique identifier that resolves to a public verification page showing the holder's name, the Course, the date and the syllabus edition. This page exists so that a third party can confirm the credential is genuine. By accepting a credential you agree to it being verifiable in this way. See the Privacy Policy for what you can ask us to do about that page.
Credentials are issued against a calendar-year syllabus edition, which is printed on the credential. A credential does not expire and carries no renewal requirement. Where the law or subject matter changes materially we may publish a revised edition and offer an optional refresher. Taking it is voluntary and does not affect a credential already held.
We may withdraw a credential obtained through impersonation, account sharing or any other breach of these Terms. A withdrawn credential is marked as withdrawn on its verification page.
skillcapita is not a university, a college or a degree-granting body. We are an education services provider. Nothing on the Platform enrols or registers you at any university or institution, or entitles you to its resources, benefits or privileges.
Our credentials are not academic credit, a degree, a diploma or a statutory licence, and we make no representation about their recognition or equivalence by any employer, institution or regulator. If you need a specific credential for an academic or professional purpose, check its suitability before enrolling.
Where a Course is offered with an academic, industry or certification partner, the partner's role and the exact wording of that relationship are stated on the Course page. Any credit or certification awarded by a partner is awarded by that partner under its own rules, not by us.
We may update, correct, add to, reschedule or withdraw Course content, assessments and their weighting. Changes to assessment criteria or weighting do not apply to learners already enrolled in an active cohort unless required for accuracy. We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Where a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy. Nothing in these Terms obliges us to maintain any particular Course indefinitely.
You agree not to:
We may report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities without notifying you first.
The Platform may let you post questions, discussion comments, assessment responses, feedback and similar material ("Your Content"). Your Content remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display Your Content as needed to operate the Platform and deliver the Course, and to use anonymised and aggregated material derived from it to improve our Courses. We may remove Your Content at any time.
You confirm that you have the rights to submit Your Content, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
All Course material, including video, audio, text, assessments, templates, frameworks, illustrations, layouts, software and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected under Indian and international law. The skillcapita name, wordmark and logo are our marks.
You may view and use Course material for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, publish, modify, transmit, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from it, or remove any proprietary notice. You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to access the source code of the Platform.
For clarity, the following are not personal, non-commercial use: reselling or renting any part of the material; selling access or links to it; using it to deliver paid training or support; using it for internal training inside a company or institution without a team licence from us; or uploading it anywhere publicly accessible, including social media, video sites and file-sharing networks.
Statutory text quoted in our Courses is reproduced from primary sources published by the Government of India for educational purposes.
We respect third-party intellectual property and respond promptly to clear notices of infringement. If you believe material on the Platform infringes your rights, write to our Grievance Officer with: your contact details; identification of the work; where the material appears on the Platform; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; and a statement that the information you have given is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Third-party names, marks and logos that appear on the Platform belong to their owners. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement of skillcapita, and nothing on the Platform grants you any licence to use them.
The Platform may link to third-party websites. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Your dealings with them are between you and them. Please read their terms before using them.
You may not link to the Platform in any way that suggests an endorsement, sponsorship or relationship that does not exist.
In respect of Your Content and anything else users post (but not Course content authored by skillcapita), skillcapita acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
You must not host, display, upload, publish, transmit, store, update or share information that:
We may remove such material and suspend the account responsible.
You must not attempt to breach the security of the Platform. That includes accessing data not intended for you, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, interfering with service to any user or network, sending unsolicited email through the Platform, or forging headers. Violations may attract civil or criminal liability, and we will cooperate with law enforcement in investigating them.
We take reasonable measures to protect the Platform, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee that a determined third party will never breach it.
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Our Courses are educational. They are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and using them creates no adviser-client relationship. Completing a Course does not make you or your organisation compliant with any law.
We take care that content is accurate and anchored to primary sources at the time of publication. Law and practice change. We do not warrant that content reflects the position on the day you read it. For your own situation, consult a qualified professional.
The Platform and Courses are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any particular result will follow from using it.
Content may contain typographical errors or become out of date. We may correct or update it at any time without notice.
Any learner outcomes, testimonials or reviews shown on the Platform are individual experiences. They are not typical results, not a prediction, and not a guarantee of any outcome for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither skillcapita nor its directors, employees, partners, vendors or suppliers is liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, goodwill, data or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform or a Course, or from any decision you take based on Course content.
Our total aggregate liability to you, in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for the Course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₹2,000 where you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold skillcapita harmless from any claim, liability, loss or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your use of the Platform in breach of these Terms, your breach of any law or third-party right, or content you post on the Platform, subject to the liability cap in clause 22.
You may close your account at any time. Closing an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund; see the Refund Policy.
We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, infringed a third party's rights, or engaged in conduct that undermines the integrity of the Platform or its assessments. We will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination. We may retain records after closure where we are required to, or to keep an issued credential verifiable.
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike, flood, fire, failure of a public utility, internet or satellite failure, or an act of government or court.

27.2 Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties shall use reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute through good-faith discussions for 30 days after written notice of the dispute. This shall not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief.

After the dispute has arisen, the Learner may, at the Learner’s sole option, either:
(a) pursue the dispute before an appropriate consumer commission or other statutory forum; or
(b) refer the dispute to arbitration under clause 27.3.
If the Learner commences proceedings before a consumer commission, the Company shall not seek to refer that dispute to arbitration under this clause.
